Mercer & Hole partner Helen McKie recognised as one of the 'Top 35 Under 35' advisers
Congratulations go to Helen McKie on being recognised as one of the Top 35 Under 35 advisers in Private Client Practitioner’s listings. We are delighted that Helen who joined Mercer & Hole on our graduate trainee programme in 2003 and became a partner in 2008 has been recognised for her achievements.
Trust advisers often have an undeserved reputation for being a bit fuddy duddy and trusts themselves as not being at the cutting edge. Helen proves that both these myths are unfounded.
Despite the far reaching changes of Finance Act 2006 which have changed the landscape for trusts, they remain a useful part of the tax planning armoury and also play an important role in the overall management of a family’s financial affairs and helping to move assets from one generation to another by a gradual process.
